Chamberlain Property Management was formed in 1986 with the goal of providing an unsurpassed level of service for our clients and tenants. We specialize in managing single family homes and condos as well as smaller apartment communities in North County. We believe that by concentrating on leasing and managing residential properties exclusively, our clients will get the attention and expertise they deserve. We serve the cities of Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista and Encinitas exclusively. By staying in a tight geographical boundary, we are able to keep a very close eye on our properties and quickly respond to any problems.

We do our best to see that our properties are rented quickly to responsible tenants. We keep a close eye on our properties beginning with a thorough walk through at the time of move in followed by regular inspections during the tenancy. We respond quickly and efficiently to maintenance needs and keep a close eye on expenses. The majority of our routine maintenance is done by in house employees but we maintain relationships with several local contractors and vendors who provide very high levels of workmanship at reasonable prices. We keep our clients informed and are available by pager 24-7 if needed.

Mike & Kim Chamberlain Mike and Kim were high school sweethearts and married in 1976. They have two children, a wonderful daughter in law and two granddaughters already! Their son, Mark, married his high school sweetheart and is a paramedic/firefighter for the City of Poway. Their daughter Kristen is a senior at Azusa Pacific University and planning to pursue her Masters degree in social work at San Diego State. Mike has been a licensed Realtor since 1977 at the age of 21. He has focused on property management since obtaining his Brokers license in 1980. He is a hands on, full time property supervisor and very involved business owner who cares very much about his clients. Kim spent sixteen years as an escrow officer. The last ten years of her career in escrow were as a bank vice president and escrow manager with a staff of five escrow officers and assistants. After taking a year off, Kim joined our staff in 1993. She now manages our personnel and the office business. She also has her real estate license and arranges and coordinates sales activities for our clients when the need arises. We have been located in the Village area of Carlsbad since our formation in 1986. We were blessed with the opportunity to purchase our own building in 1999 and are now proudly located one block north of the Carlsbad Post Office. Stop by and see us if you're in the area!
