Garden Bunny Spring Party
There’s fewer settings more ideal for a spring party than the San Diego Botanic Garden, and this year all little ones ages 2 – 6 are invited to the garden for an Easter celebration. Kiddos will get to visit with the garden’s gentle bunny, pet REAL bunnies and chicks and make colorful spring-themed crafts. Worried they’ll miss the traditional egg hunt? Let them know they’ll get to parade through the garden on a BUNNY hunt instead. We think they’ll forget about those plastic colored eggs in no time.

Dates: Apr. 4, Early Party 10 – 11:30 a.m.; Late party 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Cost: $18/non-member; $15/member (parties are limited to 50 guests, so pre-registration is required). San Diego Botanic Gardens, 230 Quail Gardens Dr., Encinitas

Bunny Train
Looking for a new way to celebrate the Easter holiday with your family? Look no farther than the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum! Complete with a train ride, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and an Easter egg hunt, the Bunny Train event at the Museum is perfect for the whole family.
The celebration kicks off with a train ride. The Easter Bunny will board the train at the Campo Depot and visit with all of the passengers on the train as it travels toward the U.S. border. After enjoying the one-hour journey through San Diego County’s beautiful mountain terrain, the train stops at the Museum’s Display Building where more fun awaits. Egg hunting is available, where the children may turn in the plastic eggs they find to Museum volunteers for sweets and other prizes. The best part – entrance into the Display Building and both Easter egg hunts is included in the price of your train tickets! For pricing and to make reservations, click here!
