Christmas Tree Collection
Recycle your holiday tree! The cities of Carlsbad and Oceanside will have their curbside tree collection December 26th to January 12th. Please remove all decorations including tinsel, lights, ornaments and tree stands, and place the tree on the curb on your scheduled collection day. Trees taller than 6 feet must be cut in half. There are other drop-off locations throughout San Diego

Encinitas Holiday Parade!
2017 Encinitas Holiday Parade rolls along Coast Highway 101 on Saturday, December 2nd. At 5:00 pm there is the Tree Lighting ceremony with a brief appearance by Santa at the Lumberyard (near Starbucks coffee).
Encinitas' favorite holiday tradition. Put it on your calendar. Nearly 100 parade entries will roll, march, cycle, scoot and cruise down the Coast Highway on the most magical night of the year! The parade begins at 5:30 PM, and ends about 7:30 pm.
Parking Shuttles - don't stress over finding a parking space downtown, take advantage of our FREE parking shuttles that run from Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

Giving Tree Lighting
Join us for a festive tree lighting celebration featuring holiday performances by the All American Boys Chorus, complimentary hot chocolate and a visit with Santa for those celebrating the USO San Diego. Friday, November 24th at 6:30, Seaport Village.
You can also bring your toy donation to this free, kick-off event!
After the Giving Tree lighting ceremony, Eddie V's invites you to join them in their V-Lounge from 8 pm - 11 pm. A portion of the proceeds from the V-Lounge sales will be donated to USO San Diego. Continue the celebration with live festive music, refreshing drinks and amazing food!
